Dr. Thill grew up in Sunset Hills, MO, and earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She now serves St. Louis patients in need of primary and ocular disease eye care.
Dr. Thill graduated from Saint Louis University in 2008, earning her Honors Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then graduated in 2012 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, receiving a Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Thill trained at the Kansas City VA Hospital followed by a residency at the Fayetteville Arkansas VA specializing in primary eye care and ocular disease. During her residency, she practiced in a full-time clinic, was a preceptor to optometry students at Northeastern State University College of Optometry, and furthered her training to include injection and laser treatments.
After her residency, she worked for the Mount Vernon Missouri VA Clinic providing medical optometry care for the veterans of southwest Missouri.
Most recently, Dr. Thill has worked at Mercy in Springfield, Missouri. While at Mercy, she worked with primary care physicians, endocrinologists, rheumatologists, neurologists, hospitalists, and Urgent Care physicians to provide ocular examinations and treatments for patients with vision problems. She communicated daily with retina, glaucoma, cataract, and pediatric ophthalmologists, regarding the care and management plans for co-managed patients. Many of her patients have been referred to her from these ophthalmologists to monitor and treat their chronic eye diseases. With her years of experience in medical optometry, she has the expertise to provide excellent eye care to everyone in the St. Louis community.
While Dr. Thill is sad to leave her patients in Springfield, she is very excited to return home to Sunset Hills, MO, where she grew up.
